This is the record of one man's experience of the political upheavals that started in Burma in August 1988 against the military government that had ruled for 26 years & ended with the deaths of more than 4000 people & the reimposition of authoritarian rule by SLORC as the new junta called itself.Starting as a letter it became a log.
