Author Description

Michael Hirtzel Jr. was born 9 April 1829 in Alsace. He immigrated to America wih his parents and they first lived in New York prior to their settlement in Stephen Township, Ontario, Canada. Michael married twice and was the father of fourteen known children. His children were born and grew up in Crediton, Ontario, Canada but most them moved to the United States and and lived in Michigan, North Dakota and elsewhere.
