Aimed at high ability/able students at Key Stage 3 (11-14), this students' book contains stimulating English activities which deliver pace, breadth, depth and challenge. Units will focus of themes and topics which cover a variety of text types. They each contain several stimulus texts, fromfull-page articles to shorter extracts to prompt discussions enabling the development of skills in comparison, evaluation and synthesis. English Challenge aims to move students coming into KS3 at Level 5 or above to Level 7 by the end of the Key Stage.The students' book is supported by a teacher's book and accompanying CD-ROM containing resource sheets.
