An untrustworthy narrator's failed attempt to intellectualize his way out of apartment life and existential dilemma. Living life on the fringes of Everything becomes lonely, especially at night. With a pack of cigarettes, an antique typewriter, and a distant voice on the radio to keep him company, our narrator ponders the intricacies of sex, love, particle physics, and the Governing Body of the Universe. My New Religion offers a hilarious, if at times maudlin, view through the distorted perspective of an anti-social young man who promises he won't lie to you ever again.
