About the Author Kris Rowsan is a keen Mycologist and Herbalist and has been cultivating mushrooms for over 10 years, ever since his parents bought him a mushroom grow kit for his 16th birthday. He has cultivated many tasty gourmet mushrooms at home including; Shiitake, Maitake, Enoki, Oyster, Lions Mane and Button mushrooms. He has also ventured into the world of cultivating purely medicinal mushrooms such as, Reishi and Turkey Tail. Kris hasn't caught the fungi foraging bug as much as many of his friends but does occasionally enjoy a trip to the english countryside to hunt for some wild mushroom species.At the turn of 2021, Kris embarked on one of his more challenging ventures to date and decided to write a book. His first, was titled, 'Mushroom Cultivation for Beginners, 21 Step-by-Step Methods to Master Your Mushroom Growing Skills in as Little as 4 Weeks'. This beginner friendly guide earned Kris the title of an Amazon #1 best selling author. His second project was this book, 'The Mushroom Medicine Cabinet', which was published on the 9th August 2021.
