The seventeen papers in this volume, presented at two seminars, one held at Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar and the other held at Layalpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar, attempt to examine the various dimensions of economic reforms in India. Addressing the issues pertaining to infrastructural development and institutional reforms, they deal with globalisation, trade and investment.
