Buffalo, Wyoming 1958. Local resident 18-year-old Robert Royce is a seasoned private detective as well as the owner of a fledgling but quickly growing P. I. agency. Robert and his staff find it increasingly difficult to keep up with their unexpectedly large workload. To complicate matters, Robert becomes dedicated to solving a thirty-odd-year-old mystery involving gangsters, missing gold, and some things that are not what they appear to be.
