Author Description

In mid 1940 a small fighter aircraft with foreign markings lands on a deserted air strip near coastal South Carolina. Its cargo would be stored elsewhere, hidden from view for over six decades. When the American and British governments attempt to retrieve the material, its recovery involves doing the obvious without being observed by those around the site and particularly the media. Reputations are at stake and history could be rewritten. And assistance is needed from the White House to Buckingham Palace. Problem, the object of the search is located in the middle of a community that was never informed of its existence while they themselves are embroiled in their own political machinations.
