In a small logging town in upstate New York, a minor league team begins the 1973 baseball season with an over-the-hill center fielder, a relief pitcher afraid to throw a ball, a female coach/manager, and a third baseman who claimed to have played his last baseball game 90 years ago. This is the first novel in Chuck Miller's "Welcome to Iverhill" book series.
