This is the accounts of a 7 Year divorce with custody battles with the Family County courts and the fight to keep the kids safe.My X husband and I first agreed to split all our possessions down the middle and have joint custody 50/50 time shared with out two kids at the time 2&9 yrs of age. We thought that having an attorney legalize our agreement would be a wise choice, neither me nor my husband was prepared to take on the justice system and all the manipulation that went with it. My husband hired an attorney that was out for taking advantage of anyone she could and my family was next. He thought she had his best interest in hand when all she had was her hands in his pockets, which in turned forced me to keep an attorney, to defend myself from my own property,kids and possessions. By the time those attorneys went thought all we had then they forced us to settle with the same agreement we had for ourselves 7 years prior, our relationship/friendship and co-parenting is extremely damaged to the point of hardly no repair.
