(CME Beginning Series). Can You Imagine was written in response to the war in Afghanistan and to the many civilians, especially children, who become displaced persons. The composer had this to say, "I wanted to respond with a composition for children - about children - a work that would inspire us to create a better future for them. Without the beauty of children in our lives...I can't imagine."
