Jimmy Rhoades, the main character in It's Lonely In This Town is a prime example. His journey takes him on an emotional, but familiar roller coaster that many of us today can relate to. How about love and romance! It's hard to be lonely and confused without these two. Jimmy is not only at the mercy of his complex and non conventional psyche. He has Suzy on one hand, to help remind him of the power in being simple, and simply being loved--especially by her. On the other hand, there's Karen. Meeting her opens a world filled with diversity, and reveals a yearning deep within him for what's been missing his entire life. There's no greater truth than friendship!
