August to August chronicles a pivotal year in my life. During a 12 month period I struggled through placing my mother in an assisted living facility, turned 50, retired from teaching, began pursuing a demanding Master's Degree, and through it all tried to retain my sanity.Join me, via my first year of blogging, in chronicling the joyful and gut-wrenching ups and downs of an intense life chapter while valiantly addressing my remaining parent's increasing needs.
