MOUNTAINS TO THE EAST is a story where protagonist Nick Bridger enters college and learns so much more than textbook lessons. Over the course of his time at Coast College Nick comes to realize that a college degree is not a piece of paper to make more money - rather, it opens one's eyes to make the world a better place. Ultimately, Nick struggles with accepting a job in his chosen profession or living where he finds solace.
