Rasen has always been a place of mystery. Its magics were more potent, people were hardier, and its military technology always more advanced than the rest of the world. However it was also an exotic land of danger. Demons of terrifying machinations roamed the land, monsters as small as chameleon like spiders to colossal beasts as big as castles are abundant, yet Rasen had always endured its own natural horrors. Though their magic users are rare compared to other nations, they are a gift of incredible power that led the Rasenian civilization to stand where it has. To better survive, Rasen had sold its military might to other countries, offering to slay their monsters and Demons in exchange for supplies and plots of land. War after war, its people endured whatever was thrown to them for centuries, and only emerged fewer but stronger from it. However everything changed when one of their farthest neighbors, Felketh, called for aid. The promise of many islands with fertile soil was too great to ignore even in their weakened state after so many years fighting. Not much was known of Felketh, but Rasen came to their large neighbors aid in full force, and though victorious, suffered catastrophic casualties. Felketh would then take advantage of their weakened state and banish their saviors, though many would be left behind to live in squalor like slaves. Now two of Rasen's magical warriors wander the land attempting to help where they can, but with the power to create such monumental change comes the fear from those who do not understand it's mystery's. As the division and fear among Felkethian and Rasenian common folk grows; a new empire to the North rises calling for it's own bloody retribution, and the two must tread carefully if they are to save all they can.
