Around twenty-eight thousand years later, imagine settlers who came to America on the Mayflower in 1620, telling stories to their grandkids about how Christians once worked to pay for their sins before Martin Luther hung his Ninety-five Theses on the Church in Wittenberg in 1517, questioning indulgence, causing reformation in the Roman Catholic Churches in Europe. Imagine soldiers telling their kids and grandkids how they rebelled against the British in the Revolutionary, War of 1776, so America could be free to govern herself.
