This memoir is candid and illuminating. Or maybe it’s an autobiography; the author says he isn’t quite sure which. It begins with chapters describing the author’s life and family growing up in Colorado. It goes on to document from the inside of NASA how scientists did their part in the cold war. With reading dyslexia, the creator has come to this form of self-expression late in life. Readers say his writing is excellent and “funny.” They like the author’s honesty showing NASA is more than rockets and people in space. It ends with the author back in Colorado enjoying travels and retirement. His poems are worth a look, too.
