This new addition to the acclaimed Oxford-Duden pictorial dictionaries presents parallel English and Croatian word-lists containing some 28,000 items in each language. These word-lists are linked by number to 384 picture sections, divided by subject to cover typical situations in everyday life, recreation and sport, flora and fauna, industry, the arts, and technology. Each vocabulary item is indexed in English and Croatian so the dictionary can be used in either direction. This new dictionary will not only be an invaluable supplement to standard Croation-English and English-Croatian dictionaries, but will also be useful to all businesspersons, translators, tourists, and anyone interested in Yugoslavian language and culture.
