In the not-too-distant future, a forensic investigator implicates himself in a robot murder mystery. Connor Jones wishes to live in the past, making his job analysing crime scenes pretty tricky. It doesn't help when there isn't a body. When a home security drone disintegrates an intruder, all that's left is dust, but instead of trying to identify the victim, Connor finds a key. What it unlocks makes his wish come true...but at what cost?
