Author Description

A wonderful showcasing of twenty-four selected stories from the countries of the West Balkan - the region of ex-Yugoslavia. The comics scene in Yugoslavia was unusually strong and the new countries maintained it with the same vigor and quality. The present collected stories are all short stories, which is a very difficult genre, even in literature, because the stories have to be concise, but still clear in narrative and graphics. All selected authors are great comics authors and this selection amazes with its richness of stories and genuine artistic achievements.
