Oscar Platz is a widower raising seven children on his family farm in Eastern Massachusetts. His children are good kids that are growing up too quickly right before his eyes. The children, ranging in ages from eighteen to eight, are closely knit, especially without their mother. They would do anything for each other, but none of them ever thought that they would have to do something like this to keep one of them safe and free. One if the seven children has done something terrible, an accident that would change their lives forever, yet it is then that the bond between them all is tested. A neighbor and family friend is killed on their property, a mortal wound suffered by an arrow of outrageous fortune. Would they let one of their own suffer a horrible fate or would they rally around one another in solidarity? Only the Seven Children of Oscar Platz would know the answer.
