Hela's siege of Asgard and demonic hordes loose on Earth force Thor into a desperate bargain with a mortal woman to launch a final assault against the forces of death. Thor must confront not only the overwhelming might of Hela and her legions but also the consequences of a dangerous pact he makes with a mortal. The narrative framework appears to be a direct continuation of established Thor mythology, focusing on epic battles and high stakes within the cosmic and earthly realms.

This collection gathers significant Thor storylines, highlighting the creative contributions of Alan Davis. The narratives presented focus on high-stakes conflict, pitting Thor against formidable cosmic and earthly threats, including the goddess Hela and vengeful past adversaries.
