And Thus It Was: The View of the Poet is the poetic endeavor of the author over a number of years. Its four sections are an arbitrary attempt to organize a wide ranging collection of themes and moods. Each piece is a complete expression of the author's thoughts giving the reader something to ponder. The book is designed for contented reading by the fire on a winter's eve or on the breast of the hill on a bright sunny day. The spirit is positive and at times thought provoking. The reader will find very little hidden or obscure meanings in the text. It is straightforward using syntax and rhythmn to carry the meaning of the wording.
