O Level Urdu has been written for students who study Urdu as a second language. This book is based on the latest UCIE Urdu Syllabus B (3248), and incorporates all the requisite topics: comprehension, summary, composition and its genres, English to Urdu translation, close passages and sentence transformation.The age group and interests of the students have been considered in selection of the text, which is based on extracts adapted from well-known contemporary and classic sources. Exercises have been given to reinforce language skills and worked samples provided for guidance. Each section also includes relevant questions from the UCIE O Level examination papers based on the new syllabus.The objective of this book is not only to be an aid for success in the O Level examination, but to provide an opportunity to read and enjoy the Urdu language.
