"A lot of the quotes in this book were inspired by my dad. He had a wonderful happiness about him and he loved being in other people's company. No matter what would happen, he would think of something to say that would make people laugh or smile. He wasn't a comedian, but no matter how life got, he was always generous and was never short of a saying or comment that seemed to make sense of everything, somehow.
