An evil billionaire, trying to tap the energy potential of the crystalline methane under the floor of the Atlantic Ocean, triggers a disaster when gigatons of the poisonous gas are released into the water and atmosphere and innumerable lives are lost. Victoria Clark and Dr. Sam Briscoe must find a way to seal the break in the ocean floor.
