It is meant to support your child in developing and strengthening their mental maths skills. The majority of my students always struggled with developing their mental maths skills and found it particularly challenging making that change from needing visual stimuli to calculate sums to working calculations out in their head. That is why I decided to write this book – to support young learners with this transition. It can be used with the other books in the Year 3 Maths series for all-rounded mathematical support or independently for focused practice. I hope that young learners will enjoy working on this book, as much as I have enjoyed writing it.”Special ThanksI would like to give special thanks to my dear son Konstantinos Karagiannis who at the time of writing this book is 10 years of age.He has always had a very special interest in Maths, from a young age.He has been recognised for his mathematical ability and performance on numerous occasions, with a few of his most important and recent achievements being: Gold Medallist in the National Primary Maths Challenge in 2021 Participating in the Global Mathematics Olympiad 2021, working at beyond national
