
Uncle Toms Cabin is an anti-slavery novel written by American writer Stowe. H. B. in 1852. With interspersed narration, it, through two parallels namely obedient Tom and resistant Elisa, vividly represents the miserable life of the American black people under the exploitation of the plantation owners in Southern America, reveals the brutal nature of the slavery system, plays a great role in awakening the public to fight against slavery and promote the abolitionist movement, thus has immeasurable effects on the awakening of the worlds oppressed people.
