This collection of poems aims to emphasize the person of Jesus, in all that accompanies our lives, week after week, throughout a year. I share them with you with a prayer in my heart, that you too may one day know him, and begin your own poetic adventure with him, for He is the best poet who knows how to speak to the heart, where nothing else still finds a way to penetrate it.When I was still a young child, I liked spending time in the gardens or hours on the balcony of my room talking about what I wanted to see be my life, with a stranger, whom I called the Lord Jesus Christ. I was talking to him and yet I didn't know him. It was just an idea I had made of him.But when I met him at the age of 24 and opened the doors of my heart to him, He then was the one who showed me what my life should now become. I learned to find out who I really was and especially the reasons of the different stages I had gone through and where I was going through. It was a new life that I was beginning with him, full of goodbyes to a withered past, and full of hope and joy for every day I spent in His presence.In His love, compassion and patience, the Lord Jesus not only saved me from the terrible judgment that awaited me, but also taught me to contemplate things, people, nature, times, through His gaze and truly I discovered through this mirror, how He was just palpable in everything around us.Through these poems, there are shared feelings, lived lives of people, thoughts, biblical episodes and the nature itself in what it is and offers us, that tell us about His presence and how real He really is.
