Seventeen years after the death of the legendary fighter Mubai, four great warriors are called to guard the formidable sword, The Green Destiny, once more. The sword's power irrevocably altered the life of Shulien, Mubai's lover, but she remains honor-bound to defend the blade from the power-hungry warlord Hades Dai. The young fighters Wei-fang and Snow Vase, switched at birth, find their destinies inextricably linked to the sword and each other. Adding to the conflict, Silent Wolf, Shulien's former fiancé, returns from presumed death to thwart Hades Dai and rekindle Shulien's dormant feelings.

The premise sets up a narrative rich with martial arts action and interwoven destinies, characteristic of wuxia-inspired stories. The focus on protecting a powerful artifact against a formidable warlord suggests a conflict-driven plot with high stakes. The introduction of characters with past connections and switched-at-birth revelations points towards intricate character dynamics and potential betrayals. The return of a presumed-dead fiancé adds a layer of personal drama and emotional complexity to the overarching quest.
