A digital pop idol's music inspires a collection of interconnected stories. The manga follows Hatsune Miku, a global cyber celebrity and synthesizer superstar, alongside her fellow Vocaloids like Rin, Len, and Luka, as they embark on various musical adventures. The narrative framework is that of an omnibus, presenting a series of distinct tales that explore the world and impact of these virtual musicians.

The premise of Unofficial Hatsune Mix centers on the global phenomenon of Hatsune Miku, the virtual idol, and her fellow Vocaloids. The omnibus format suggests a collection of diverse narratives, likely focusing on themes of music, digital culture, and the unique lives of synthesized performers. The inclusion of both black-and-white and color pages indicates a visually varied reading experience. The book's content is expected to appeal to fans of Vocaloid culture and manga enthusiasts interested in contemporary, music-themed stories.
