The fifth in her Poems from the Pew series, "God's Love in a Limerick" contains lighthearted reflections for children of all ages regarding various bible stories, as well as giving advice for living a good Christian life - all in the context of a limerick-style rhyme. These poems employ varying imaginative approaches in order to present the message on a personal and age-appropriate level. Some poems retell bible stories while including commentary from an imaginative child. Others provide prayerful opportunities for reflection and introspection. Still others tell modern day parables or create whimsical stories about the life of a Christian child.
