It is 1935, and the era of high living and brave fashion is fading, as the threat of war begins to infiltrate society. James Waybury, capitalising on rumours and secrets, has written a controversial book, and invited a number of associates to a book launch weekend at a remote house on Exmoor. Unfortunately, not all the guests are happy with the circumstances around the book, and events take an anxious and eventually tragic turn.
