The US Department of Labor says that hiring managers give 70% of jobs to someone they know or was referred to them through their professional network. This book will give you an unfair advantage in landing your first or next job. When I was a student, I was told that to be successful I needed to "network". When I asked what that meant, I was told to attend networking events. I asked what do I do at the events, "network" was the response. It turns out these folks didn't know how to network - I was asking for something they did not have. That's why I have published this book. Students deserve to have a method and process to build a supportive professional network. In this book you will learn about the science of relationships and a proven method to build your network.
