Katie Bloom, a struggling barista, finds herself unexpectedly cast as the 'sex kitten' in rockstar Jesse Mayes' new music video. Katie is trying to get over a broken heart when she's thrust into the spotlight alongside Jesse, a notorious heartbreaker. Despite the fake intimacy required for the video shoot, a powerful chemistry ignites between them. Jesse, impressed by their on-screen connection, proposes a six-week arrangement: Katie will pose as his girlfriend to aid his album promotion, with the understanding that their intimate moments are strictly for public consumption. Katie, wary of falling for the legendary rockstar, agrees, though she's willing to explore the physical connection.

The premise sets up a classic enemies-to-lovers or fake-dating trope within the popular rockstar romance subgenre. The narrative is expected to focus on the development of chemistry between the protagonists, exploring the tension between public perception and private feelings. Readers can anticipate steamy encounters and the emotional journey of Katie as she navigates a relationship with a man known for his romantic conquests. The story likely delves into themes of trust, vulnerability, and the challenges of maintaining authenticity in the spotlight.
