Chuck is an army corporal from the planet, Urthiesly. He gets involved in the war between his planet and the neighboring planet. He unexpectedly gets hit by a meteorite. He lands on Earth that he doesn't know about. He is surprised because the humans look the same as the Urthieslians. When he looks around, he sees a huge building, a baseball stadium. He throws a ball, which he thought was a bomb. His 120-mile-throw causes a ball boy to have a concussion. He is offered a position on a team and starts to learn about the baseball. He makes many friends and lives happily. Will Chuck be able to succeed at a sport that he never heard about?
