Picture Book Learning was created to enhance childrens education by inviting them to use their favorite picture books to master early elementary concepts. The twenty-five Picture Book Learning Skill Sheets in Volume 1 focus on key language arts skills such as comprehension, sentence writing, nouns, verbs, synonyms, antonyms, compound words, and many others. The ready-to-use skill sheets and recommended lessons will teach or reinforce the concepts with the assistance of popular childrens stories. Picture Book Learning Skill Sheets were originally designed to be used by teachers to strengthen a curriculum and provide challenging activities for students with varying levels of language arts abilities.
