This book is not another breast cancer memoir but so much more. It is a story of a woman looking after and caring for both parents during their illnesses while having children and being diagnosed with cancer herself. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2004, 20 years ago, and she pulled through and survived many years. She also shares about her more recent surgery to remove her breast implants after sixteen years and what helped her through that experience as well. This book will give hope and help to many suffering the same way. Her fears and emotions are shared honestly with a few moments of humor. Liza's positive outlook and no-nonsense attitude show that it is possible (although still difficult) to take on all this and come out better in the end. She shares her insights into why she made the decisions that she made and recommends products for those who might face a similar journey. She created this book with much research, ingenuity, and self-care/empowerment in mind. It includes photos that show her journey and the products she used, which add to the story.
