This poster gives you an overall view of the classes in the Java(tm) 2 Platform, Standard Edition, v1.3. There are now over 2,100 public classes and interfaces within over 70 packages in this latest version. Fifty-eight of these packages are displayed in this poster. For each package, all of the classes and interfaces in the package are displayed, showing their relationships to each other. If a class subclasses a class from another package or if a class implements an interface from another package, these "foreign" classes and interfaces are also shown. Foreign classes and interfaces are marked in such a way as to easily determine to which package they belong. Also indicated is whether each class is final or abstract. Not Shown: java.security.acl; java.awt.peer; javax.swing.plaf.*; javax.transaction; javax.rmi.CORBA; org.omg.*; all inner classes; all errors and exceptions; all deprecated classes and interfaces.
