Rex wondered why he had spent the past 102 days in his saddle riding east away from his family in Coon Springs. Whatever the reason, at this point it didn't matter, he was headed home where he belonged. With a stranger as a traveling companion and home as his destination, Rex was totally unaware of what danger and adventure awaited him as he continued trekking west.
