A girl discovers she is a dragon, and must navigate a world where her kind are hunted. Alia is a young girl who has always felt different, plagued by strange dreams and an unshakeable sense of displacement. When she discovers she is a dragon, a creature of myth and power, her world is irrevocably altered. She must learn to control her newfound abilities while evading those who seek to exploit or destroy her kind, all while grappling with her own identity and the secrets of her past.

The premise sets up a compelling narrative of self-discovery and survival in a world hostile to the protagonist's true nature. The blend of fantasy elements with a young adult coming-of-age story suggests a focus on internal conflict and external threats. Readers can anticipate themes of identity, acceptance, and the fight against persecution. The narrative likely explores the complexities of belonging when one is fundamentally different from the surrounding society.
