Evolution has its amazing and wonderful aspects, but ONLY at the expense of certain unconscionable sufferings and at every step, deaths at all levels, areas and fields of biological life over 4 billion years that life in some form has lived on planet Earth. No living organism or thing escapes the final destiny of death with almost 100% dying after varying degrees of suffering. Animals in their environment eaten alive by their predators. The author relates this inescapable perspective of an overview of the big picture as simply as "The Menu" after watching a wonderful movie by the same name over numerous times, as it dawned on the author that evolution is like a seven-course menu where each course builds upon itself with an overarching theme or concept which in the case of planet Earth which 4.5 billion years ago set the stage, not unlike the ambiance of a fine restaurant, where the courses and food play a central role as the evolution of life itself has a central role, not unlike a stage in a play where the actors play out the courses and the food is like the words spoken mires the evolution of the theme of the play...therefore, "The Menu."
