An ancient monastery in Tibet is practically deserted due to the crisis of faith in the outside world. Twelve bodhisattvas inhabit its grounds who have managed to accumulate great wisdom after many lives. The few monks who have not yet left decide to summon the council of sages to try to resolve the desperate situation of the monastery. But the responses of the sages will bring agitation to the hearts of the monks. A short story that allows us to open a window to an exotic and mysterious place full of humanity and inherent weakness. With Twelve Wise Men come other three short stories: The Dark Table, The Outside Horror, Walking to the Cementery.
