Amos and Andy are played in blackface by Freeman F. Gosden and Charles W. Corell, who created the characters on radio. In this movie, "Check and Double Check" they play a couple o handy men who are not quite as handy as they should be. The film is of interest as it showcases the original duo and allowed their millions of listeners to see them "live" and associate faces with their famous voices. Also starring is Duke Ellington and his orchestra.
