Elections Laws of Texas is a collected volume of state and federal statutes that relate to the election process, the duties of state, county, and local officials, and the qualifications for various elected offices in Texas. The Complete Version of the Election Laws of Texas includes the full text of the Texas Election Code and Chapter 81 of the Texas Administrative Code, as well as selected provisions of Title 52 of the US Code, the Texas Constitution, the Texas Government Code, and other provisions of Texas law that are relevant to Texas elections. The other version of this book, the Compact Version, includes only the Texas Election Code. The Compact Version is designed to be a more portable version of the Texas Election Code for those that wish to travel with a lighter version of this book. The 2025-2026 Edition reflects Texas law as amended by the 89th Legislature, Regular Session.
