The aim of this book is to provide the busy property practitioner with an up-to-date and accessible ready reference guide to the most important changes in the law and practice of conveyancing (including the broader field of landlord and tenant) which have occurred during the twelve months preceding publication. The book describes recent cases of relevance, giving a summary of the facts of each case, the decision of the court and comments on the practical implications of this decision. Further sections cover statutes and statutory instruments; other new developments; books and articles published; and a summary of changes which are expected to occur in the law and practice of conveyancing during the following year. This annual will ensure that practitioners are kept fully informed without having constantly to read periodicals in case they contain information of relevance. The author, Russell Hewitson, is a very experienced writer on conveyancing matters.
