We as women have allowed our aging to become stigmatized. Not even daring to say the word menopause causes us needless isolation from each other and from help. Menopause is a natural part of aging. There are health responsibilities we need to assume, particularly for out hearts and our bones, as well as important cancer screening tests. As an informed consumer, there are choices we can make for greater comfort and vitality. All the best for 2004.
