Part of a set of eight state and territory reports which accompanies Counting the homeless 2001 (ABS cat. no. 2050.0). Analysis of the 2001 Census is supplemented by information from the SAAP National Data Collection Agency and by data collected through a national census of homeless school students. Describes the social characteristics and geographical distribution of the homeless population.
