This is The Library Association's yearbook for 1999-2000. It is divided into three main sections. Part One contains practical information about the regional branches and special interest groups of The Association, listing committee members and publications together with ordering information. There are details of subscriptions and standing committees of Council - officers, LA Headquarters departments and staff. Winners of Library Association medals, grants and awards, both past and present, along with entry details, are also given. Part Two features The Royal Charter, Code of Professional Conduct, bye-laws, regulations for elections and for associateship, rules of procedure, and other matters of policy and practice. The final section contains a complete listing of Library Association members, personal and institutional, in the UK and overseas, plus details of members' qualifications and employment.
