This book is a compilation of the best web sites that received or were nominated for awards in a contest and named "Web Design Award 1999" sponsored by WDC (Web Design Consortium), one of Japan's leading groups of web site designers and maintainers. The entries were open to all sites irrespective of them being of commercial purpose or not. The 200 entries featured in this book all represent the best in web design today.
